Civils Operative - Manchester Area | Electricity Solutions Ltd

The Role

The Civils Operative will be required to act as banksman for a civils lead with excavations, repairs and reinstatements, installation of ducting, and cables either located on construction sites or and in the public highway, in full compliance with current legislation, health and safety requirements and company policies.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

To ensure all works are completed as required whilst the team are working within the required guidelines and processes

Reinstate to industry standard ensuring all information/pictures are captured on company supplied assets

Be competent in the use of Stihl Saws/Wacker plates/trench compactor and hold the correct certification for driving dumpers to complete the works

Complete the required paperwork for your daily work tasks (job sheets/risk assessments/plant sheets/van sheets)

Experience of risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on health and safety requirements and responsibilities.

To be responsible for the company assets & plant assigned to you for the purpose of performing your duties

Ensure compliance with all current client processes and procedures

Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal staff and external clients

Complete all project related works on time and meet client committed dates for delivery of the works.

Be prepared to carry out works on other workstreams when required and instructed by the business.

Out of hours standby cover on a rota basis

Package

Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience.

Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays

Pension: 5% Employee with 3% employer

Sick Pay: Statutory

Bonus: Based on business performance.
