Kevin Bergin
Managing Director
Joined Manweb in 1989 and then moved across to Scottish Power Contracting in 1997. Kevin held numerous engineering positions at Alstom, Areva and latterly was Private Networks Manager at Bethall Power before forming Electricity Solutions in March 2007.
Gill Bergin
Finance Director
Joined Manweb Contracting in 1992 working in the High Voltage Department, before going on to work in the Completion department of The Mortgage Business within HBOS in 1997. Gill then moved to The Close Brothers group working in the Asset finance department in 2003 before moving to Electricity Solutions in June 2008.
Tom Bergin
Business Development Manager
Tom first joined Electricity Solutions in a Project Management capacity in 2019, before being recruited by Taylor Wimpey to join their Production team. He subsequently moved into a sales position covering the New York market, where he experienced significant success. In 2024, Tom returned to Electricity Solutions, bringing with him well-rounded experience from both his previous project management and sales roles.
Nichola Robert
Office Manager
Nichola joined UCML a connections consultancy and project management company in 2006 covering electric gas water and telecoms. Nichola moved to J Wilson Contractors a Groundworks company in 2020 and Electricity Solutions in 2022. Working as an Office Manager in all roles has given her the opportunity to gain 16 years of experience in all aspects of utility connections.
Matthew Turvey
Project Manager
Matthew began his career at Virgin Media, completing an FDA in Civil Engineering before progressing into project management roles within network expansion. He later moved into contracting to broaden his experience across gas, water and electricity, managing large-scale multi-utility projects for Commex2000, Fusion UN and OCU. In 2024, he joined Mitie, delivering major solar farm developments with a focus on HV infrastructure and grid connections. Matthew is committed to operational excellence and dependable project delivery. He works through clear, robust processes, prioritising customer requirements, managing expectations effectively, and ensuring every project meets utility specifications, industry regulations and the highest quality standards.
