Electricity Solutions Ltd

GDPR Policy Statement

Updated: 12th August 2024

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) is a “European Union-wide regulation designed to harmonise data protection law across Europe, and to bring them up to date with technological advancements.”

The GDPR replaced the UK Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) on 25th May 2018 and it makes changes to the rules that Electricity Solutions Ltd must follow when processing personal data, reflecting the changes to digital technology that have occurred since the DPA was published, bringing in ‘Data Protection for the modern age’.

Electricity Solutions Ltd holds personal data for a wide range of people and companies, including current and former staff and subcontractors, whose data we are committed to protecting, through clearly understanding what data we hold about them, how and why we process it, and what we need to do to deliver the more compliance-based approach to data protection required under GDPR, with an emphasis on transparency, accountability and awareness, and giving more control of personal data back to the person it relates to.

Electricity Solutions Ltd Processes Personal Data in Line with our Data Protection Policy procedures.
